Learn how to use essential oils for your animals health and happiness.

APA 1 teaches you how to use essential oils and 5 element theory for the health and well-being of your own animals or animals in your care. It also teaches how stress effects animal health and behaviour, and how you can reduce stress in your animal’s environment.

At the end of the course you will be able to confidently choose appropriate essential oils for common health and behaviour problems; facilitate animal self-medication; and understand the phsyiological and psychological requirements of horses, dogs and cats and how to fulfill them in a domestic environment.

To earn your Level 1 certificate you must also read the book Wild Health, by Cindy Engel; complete 4 case studies and write a 3,000 word essay on an essential oil or hydrosol of your choice. This must be completed within a year of attending the course.
